Camp Programs

Golan (Entering Grades 3-5)

Golan introduces our youngest campers to the great outdoors through camping. Each day, you'll work with experienced specialists and participate in activities such as horseback riding, arts and crafts, boating, sports and nature. You'll also have an opportunity to participate in your choice of unique activities during Chug (Club) Hour. Special cabin activities, evening programs and an overnight complete this well-rounded program.

Masada (Entering Grades 6-7)

Livingston expands its boundaries to offer Masada campers more advanced levels of athletics, horseback riding, arts and crafts, ropes course, lakefront activities and much more! Counselors and campers work together for a special off camp overnight. Exciting Chugim (Clubs) and cabin activities challenge you to be more independent while building self-confidence.

Chalutzim (Entering Grades 8-9)

Chalutzim campers also participate in a wide range of activities led by experienced specialists including horseback riding on extensive trails, sports, tubing and water skiing. Campers choose their own activities during Chug Hour and cabin time, and plan many of their own evening programs including an off-camp overnight and dances. Evening activities for this group are always new and exciting and are age appropriate.

Adventures Unlimited (A.U.) (Entering Grade 10)

This unique program challenges you to reach goals that you previously thought to be unobtainable. All participants spend much of time at Livingston learning outdoor camping skills, cooking and first aid, in preparation for extensive off camp trips. You will hike and rappel in the Kentucky wilderness, explore caves and white water raft among other adventures which surround camp. At camp you will horseback ride on our extensive trails, water ski and tube behind our wave runner and participate in memorable Shabbat activities. Space is extremely limited, and will be filled on a first come-first served basis.

Machon (Entering Grade 11)

Machon is an eight-week program that combines training and recreational activities to prepare qualified teens for leadership and camp staff positions. The first two weeks of the summer, involves an intensive orientation, designed to teach you what you must know in order to be a good leader. During weeks three through eight, you will receive practical experience working together with a cabin group and counselors. Acceptance to this program is limited. Participants MUST commit to the entire eight week program.

Soosim Equestrian Camp

Available to all Golan, Masada and Chalutzim campers, this specialty equestrian program allows campers to spend the entire morning at the stables. Soosim participants will be assigned their own horse and will learn all aspects of horsemanship including grooming, saddling and trail riding. Soosim participants will then rejoin their cabin groups for afternoon and evening programming.

Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvah Training

Campers need not spend the summer at home preparing for an upcoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Our experienced staff can tutor campers during the summer at no additional charge. For more information, contact the Camp Director.

Session Pricing

Camp Livingston charges just one fee for all activities and incidentals. The camp fee covers transportation, horseback riding, laundry, camp T-shirt, accident insurance and all activities and supplies.
