Dear Camp Families,
It has been such a pleasure meeting so many campers, parents, and staff over the last two weeks! We began our journey through the Camp Livingston region with an open house meeting in Columbus on April 28. Since then, Kris Baker and I - joined at times by Mickey Baden - have visited Louisville, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and wound up the tour with a final open house in Dayton on May 7. The reception we received in every city was quite warm, and the meetings were positive and constructive.
Many thanks to Cheryl & Jackie Jacobs, Joanne Weeter & Martin Segal, Karen & Mike Schankerman, and Wendy & Erv Pavlofsky for graciously hosting these local meetings of the Camp community. The opportunity to meet so many families and answer your questions about Camp has been invaluable...I want to personally thank each and every person we met for your confidence and support!
So now we enter the final month before Camp begins. By this time in June, Staff Training week will have already begun. Our administrative staff is now poring over camper forms, fine tuning programming plans, and preparing to relocate to Bennington, Indiana in the very near future! There is a lot of excitement building, and we are ready to give your children another amazing Livingston summer!
