Nestled deep in the rolling, wooded hills of beautiful southeastern Indiana, Camp Livingston offers an unmatched summer experience for children and teens. Camp Livingston has always provided a safe and nurturing environment where campers gain self esteem and confidence, and form lasting friendships with their cabin and unit friends, all within a fun and exciting Jewish atmosphere. Camp Livingston is a Jewish overnight camp experience like no other!
Camp Livingston is a residential camp program for youth which shall enrich the lives of its campers and staff with a fun, unique, communal Jewish camping experience. My favorite place at Camp Livingston would have to be the Menorah.
It is the first thing you see when you pull up to camp, the place we gather every friday, the last thing you see as the buses pull away at the end of the summer and a symbol of what Livingston is all about. If you are lucky enough, you even get to light it on Shabbat! I will always remember the cabin pictures, joyful hellos and sad goodbyes that all took place around the Menorah every summer. - Julie
