Lodging & Meals
Lodging & community
Camp is a communal living experience. All campers are expected to contribute to the overall positive atmosphere, cleanliness and respectful care of their living space, village and camp as a whole.
Camp Livingston has three villages : Tel Aviv for campers who identify as male, Jerusalem for campers who identify as female and the Negev for older campers. Each village contains renovated cabins which sleep a maximum of 12 campers. Two to three counselors live in each cabin. Campers sleep in bunk beds and are assigned cubby spaces for belongings. Cabins are well-ventilated and villages are shaded throughout the day. Each village has two senior staff housing “yurts” where members of the camp supervisory staff live. Shower houses have multiple private showers, changing areas, toilets, and sinks which are cleaned twice daily by the maintenance staff. These modern facilities were built new for the summer of 2005 and have been recently upgraded.
Cabin requests can be made on the camper application. Each child may place two requests for campers to be housed in their unit. Camp will make every effort to honor mutual requests.
Meals & snacks

In addition to the main course, a fruit and cereal bar is available at every breakfast and salad bar and soy butter and jelly sandwich option is available at every lunch and dinner. Healthy snacks are provided every afternoon and evening. Fresh fruit is available in the dining hall throughout the day.
