Getting to Camp
Transportation to Camp
Camp Livingston provides busing for full session campers. Transportation is based on critical mass and will be provided for campers from Cincinnati, Columbus, and Louisville at the start and end of each full session. Parents are responsible for getting a child to and from a bus stop or camp at the scheduled time and date. New and returning Livingston families are encouraged to use the buses when possible. The bus is the start of an amazing summer experience and an opportunity to make new friends, meet staff members, and even learn camp traditions. First year families and families from cities where transportation is not provided may drive their child to and from camp directly.
All buses are scheduled to leave 30 minutes after check-in times. Please plan on arriving at the bus site no earlier than 15 minutes prior to check-in. Staff will not be available and/or present until check-in times.
Times, dates and locations for transportation for enrolled campers can be found in the Parent Handbook in Camp InTouch. (link to log in page)
Transportation to and from any airports or train stations is not provided unless special arrangements are made with the camp office and will incur a fee, between $50 and $100 per family per airport pickup.
Campers may not drive themselves to and from camp. A parent/guardian or pre-approved other driver (grandparents, carpool, etc). must drop off and pick up campers.
Transportation to camp is not provided for Gesher campers, please see the Parent Handbook in CampInTouch for drop off details. Gesher campers can take the full session return bus described below.
Remember: If you are not paid in full and/or all forms have not been submitted your child will not be allowed to board the bus.
Taste of Livingston campers are to be picked up at Camp.
A mini-session bus will be provided to Cincinnati only and is recommended for Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus campers. Mini-session campers from all of other cities are to be picked up at camp.
Full session buses will be provided for Cincinnati, Louisville, and Columbus campers. Full session campers from all of other cities are to be picked up at camp.
Transportation details for enrolled campers can be found in the Parent Handbook in CampInTouch.
